Born and raised in Southern Alberta, Belinda developed a strong interest in the legal field from an early age. After completing law-focused courses in high school, she pursued a degree in Communications at the University of Calgary. Her passion for service led her to support community organizations such as The Mustard Seed, the Lake Country Food Bank, and Inn From the Cold.
Before entering the legal profession, Belinda gained experience across telecommunications, financial services, and hospitality. Her career path shifted when she joined a Notary's office, immediately recognizing the meaningful and people-focused nature of the work. She spent over two years as a legal assistant while completing her Master of Applied Legal Studies at Simon Fraser University.
Belinda met all requirements for the Society of Notary Public of BC and was commissioned on June 15, 2023. Shortly after, she relocated with her family to the West Kootenays, opening her practice serving Castlegar, Trail, and the surrounding areas.
